Lehigh Valley Restaurant Group, Inc. (LVRG; www.redrobinpa.com) is a Red Robin franchise covering the Lehigh Valley, Northeast, Southeast and Harrisburg regions. LVRG was formed in 1991 by founder and former CEO, Stephen J. Hanzlik and a group of his friends. They opened their first Red Robin restaurant in 1993 at Tilghman Square in Allentown, PA. Since the beginning, LVRG has provided employment, memorable guest experiences and great food to countless people over the years. In 2010, Steve passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Steve’s legacy, nevertheless, lives on in the four walls of LVRG’s 21 restaurant locations, through their charitable contributions, community involvement and continues to service our communities with the addition of Red Robin Catering.   • President & CEO
    Mike Axiotis is a capable, energetic, knowledgeable, forward thinking, and impactful executive. His deep wisdom and expertise forged from over 19 years of increasingly responsible management experience with the Lehigh Valley Restaurant Group, 5 prior years as the Owner Operator of his own start-up restaurant, and 7 earlier years with his family’s restaurant are invaluable assets. Whether it’s our extensive community outreach, sterling record of employee engagement & success and high level of guest satisfaction and loyalty, Mike’s special influence touches all the greatest aspects and values of our organization. HISTORY: Through his tireless hard work, love of the hospitality business and people, and his commitment to excellence, Mike’s ascension was well earned. In 1998, in the early stages of our group, consisting of 3 Red Robins, we hired Mike as an Assistant Manager. In 2000, he earned his first promotion to GM. From 2000-2004, he became the go-to turnaround GM for underperforming operations. By improving staffing and employee morale and implementing effective operational systems, Mike consistently increased sales, profitability, and guest satisfaction. In 2004, he became Executive GM, overseeing 2 restaurants and in 2005, earned the promotion to Regional Operations Director in charge of 4 restaurants. In 2005, Mike led the start-up hiring, training, operations and marketing of his 5th restaurant, and in 2006, opened his 6th. In 2007, he opened his 7th, overseeing all 7 restaurants, their GM’s, and a total of 700 team members to ensure adherence to brand standards and operating procedures. From 2007 to 2010, Mike oversaw 2 of our training restaurants, developed his GM’s, staffed other locations, and helped increase revenues of his 7 Red Robin’s to $22M. In 2010, Mike was promoted to VP of Operations of all 17 restaurants with combined revenues of $48M. 2011 to 2015, he added 4 additional restaurants, bringing our portfolio to 21 restaurants and over 2000 team members with revenues exceeding $70M. In 2015, Mike took on added responsibilities to become our Executive VP of Operations. In 2017, he became certified in Franchise Management from Georgetown University. In August 2017, Mike was promoted to President. His deep knowledge of restaurant operations, finance, and technology and breadth of experience as a CPA specializing in tax law have proved integral to our growth and success. His unwavering integrity and team first orientation model our core values and his penchant for proactively and accurately communicating all relevant information, positive or otherwise, have helped him establish strong relationships and maintain trust with valued lending sources. Chris DeFrain’s detailed knowledge in a variety of key areas and his drive to make us the best in class have proved instrumental in our ability to flourish and operate with increased levels of efficiency, consistency, and overall excellence and significantly contribute to our positive outlook for the 2020’s. He worked in the accounting department for Lehigh Valley Restaurant Group from 1994 through 1997. Chris joined Buckno Lisicky & Company, Certified Public Accountants in February, 1998, received his CPA license in March, 2001, and was promoted to Shareholder in June 2005. Chris developed a niche working with McDonald’s Restaurant Franchisees. At this public accounting firm, Chris’s group of nine employees serviced over 110 McDonald’s restaurants and offered a full range of accounting services from back office support and systems through financial statement preparation and analysis. The accounting services also included tax planning and tax preparation along with business consulting and cash flow analysis. To our great benefit, In June of 2009 he rejoined LVRG as our Vice President of Accounting and Restaurant Support and was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 2010.     For over 25 years, Lehigh Valley Restaurant Group has been extremely fortunate to have an exceptional Human Resources professional in Jodie Stetz. Jodie creates highly effective systems, standards, and procedures and develops powerful training methods and tools to bring order, accountability, efficiency, uniformity, and organization to streamline complex undertakings and produce optimal results. Her positive attitude, unrelenting follow-through, and penchant for defining and driving measurable and repeatable solutions empower Red Robin’s restaurants and team members to grow and achieve at the highest levels. JODIE'S CAREER BEGINNINGS: After graduating Summa Cum Laude, from West Chester University, Jodie started her career as a Job Retention Specialist with the Private Industry Council, now the PA Career Link, helping welfare recipients find and retain meaningful jobs. After growing weary of the nonprofit environment with its lack of measurable goals and sense of urgency, she moved to the competitive business world recruiting and placing institutional food service managers and culinary personnel. She then joined Binney & Smith, Inc., the makers of Crayola Crayons as their first Staffing Specialist. There she recruited and hired for various departments and led several key initiatives including implementing their first HRIS system, developing & administering formal internship program and performing audits for EEO/AA policy adherence. In 2002, Jodie Stetz joined the Lehigh Valley Restaurant Group, as its first official Human Resources professional and her 25+ year record of building individual and organizational accountability and effectiveness has proven essential to the organization’s growth and success. Hired when LVRG had 7 Red Robins, she continuously developed clear and actionable custom enhancements to Red Robin’s most valuable initiatives. She enhanced all training programs and successfully led the employee training for all 14 new Restaurant Openings including all VIP nights before. She developed the original protocols, positions, training program, and materials for the “To Go” curbside takeout service. Jodie created a progressive step path program to map, track, and lead Team Members into Managers, Assistant Mgrs into GMs and General Managers, into Multi-Unit Managers. Jodie conceived, developed, rolled out, and administered LVRG’s original Giving Fund allowing team members to donate money through payroll deductions to fellow team members in need. The program was adopted and adapted into the nationwide Red Robin Giving Foundation. She currently sits on that Board and serves on the Committee to choose worthy recipients. She yearly participates in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night Corporate Walk.     Dave Morrone uses every lesson learned from his 25 years of robust restaurant experience to bring superior leadership, hard earned knowledge, and consistent operational effectiveness to his executive role in charge of 11 Red Robins across our Harrisburg, Philadelphia, and surrounding markets. With a focus on team members and a knack for recognizing and matching their strengths and skill sets to make the optimal people mix, Dave continually creates the right people recipes for maximized success. He knows when to jump in and when to empower. “I never forget what it was like to walk in their shoes and how it felt to be managed. I use this awareness to create a supportive environment to foster best in class team members who love working and achieving.” With numerous team members promoted to higher level positions and a General Manager as a Presidents Club winner, Dave is most proud of what his people accomplish. “We are in the people business and my primary goal is to develop and empower executive GMs and GM’s to think on their own and make the right decisions.” History Dave grew up in snowy Syracuse in upstate New York. “There was a New York style pizza place up the street from my house and I saw how much fun they were having back there and wanted to be a hand tossed pizza maker more than anything.” While in high school, at the age of 15 he got hired there as dishwasher, then started tossing pizzas, and upon high school graduation became manager, working 60 hours a week at age 19. Dave saved his money, and two years later moved to Grand Island NY, near Buffalo and opened his own full-service Italian restaurant and pizzeria. “I was too inexperienced, but I learned a lot, especially what not to do.” Dave was then hired by Darden Restaurants’ Smoky Bones in Wilkes-Barre, PA, a chain barbeque restaurant where he moved to PA, grew from a kitchen team member, to Kitchen Manager and then General Manager. There he enjoyed working with standardized processes and learned the wisdom of prioritizing team members first, guests second and shareholders third. In 2006, at age 29 with persistent recruitment by a growing LVRG, Dave decided to take the leap to join us. Judging from his 11 years of subsequent success, everyone agrees it was the perfect move. In Sept, 2008 he was at it again, successfully opening our Selinsgrove Red Robin. In June 2011, Dave was promoted to Executive GM overseeing our Paxton Town Center and Silver Springs restaurants. From 2011 to 2013 Dave took on and succeeded in turning around our most challenging operations. In July 2013 he was promoted to Regional Operations Director first in charge or 4 restaurants, then 5, then 6, then 8 and in Sept 2016, 11 Red Robins and was promoted to Senior Regional Operations Director. In Dec, 2017, he became Regional Vice President. “I love our business for many reasons. Ed’s foresight, curiosity, pragmatism, technical abilities, and keen management skills have been crucial to our growth and overall ability to satisfy evolving trends and the dynamic needs of the communities we serve. We try to be self sufficient, but we also need to rely on those who created the products we use, and who integrate these on a day in and day out basis. In technology, there is no place for big egos. I interfaced with them regularly, took and implemented their recommendations where appropriate, built trust, and the relationships increasingly improved. Vendors appreciated that we took care of the things we could instead of burdening their staff, so when we called, we got things fixed quicker, which was our goal.” Simultaneously, Ed rebuilt and repaired relationships with internal customers. In the past the restaurants did not trust IT because they were let down by unresolved technical problems that disrupted their business. Ed spent his first year and a half discovering what wasn’t working and with the help of the newly empowered vendors, they quickly and systematically solved issues and rebuilt trust with the restaurants. “I don’t like to put Band-Aids on things.   • NIKKI BLOOM
    CFO
    Since 2004, Nikki Bloom's professionalism, financial analysis skills, and organizational skills have helped enable Lehigh Valley Restaurant Group to operate and grow with heightened levels of efficiency. Her detail orientation, accuracy, and penchant for problem solving have helped solidify our Accounting & Finance Department as the backbone of our organization. What makes her truly special is her exceptional communication skills and zest for creating and improving systems, procedures, and tools to ease critical decision making in increasingly user-friendly ways. Whether it's aiding HR with accounting related questions, helping the Catering Department with payment processing or researching and discussing the financial feasibility of delivery, Nikki is consistently eager to accurately and patiently answer all finance related questions to assist all team members and departments. HISTORY: Nikki grew up in Allentown where she enjoyed an active social life, took tap and jazz dance lessons, and played softball. Nikki graduated from Parkland High School and attended East Stroudsburg University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology in 2001. With ambitions towards human resources, she achieved an Associate of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Lehigh Carbon Community College in 2002. She applied for an HR position with US Foodservice, now US Foods, a Lehigh Valley Restaurant Group vendor in Allentown, but was hired as a Credit Coordinator instead and soon discovered she had interests and abilities in accounting. Through this Red Robin connection, she gained an interest in LVRG and less than two years later was hired here, first as an Administrative Assistant and nine months later into our Accounting Department where she has since thrived. Initially, Nikki was one of our Staff Accountants supporting up to 10 restaurants. Four years later, she was promoted to Accounting Services Supervisor, assisting the CFO in preparing financial statements, the year-end audit, and the yearly budgeting process, while supervising two Staff Accountants and one Accounts Payable Specialist. In 2015, Nikki achieved an Associate of Science Degree in Accounting, earned another promotion to Manager of Accounting and Finance, and in 2017 became our Controller. Nikki and her team have helped to automate our financial data input and streamline our budgeting process to allow more time for necessary analysis. One of Nikki's most impactful efforts entailed working many months with our vendor to set up and enable our cloud based reporting tool, which has proven invaluable to our organization's effectiveness and overall success. Managers and Executives can sign on to gauge anything from sales performance and labor costs to the effectiveness of discounts and promotions to best-selling items over specific time periods. Nikki continues to update and adapt our cloud reporting tool to produce custom reports to satisfy evolving needs. Nikki Bloom aims to enable faster, easier, accurate, and efficient financial decision-making. Judging from the results she's produced, her efforts continue to accomplish her mission. NIKKI'S SCOPE & FOCUS: • Manages Manager of Accounting and Finance, Payroll Manager, two Staff Accountants, A/P Specialist and Payroll Processor. • Responsible for cash management, financial statements, and accounting support to all 21 restaurants with $72M in revenue. • Provides, accurate, accessible, and up-to-date reports and tools that enable Executives and Managers to make sound financial decisions. • Integral part of year-end audit process with outside CPA firm. • Prepares yearly budgets and presents to GM's. • Presents financial results at quarterly board, annual shareholder, and quarterly general manager meetings. • Develops and maintains cloud based operations reports. • Maintains fixed asset software of yearly capital expenditures and depreciation. • Assists in covenant calculation and communicates with lenders. • Continually evaluates and creates improvements for ease of use and increased accuracy, speed, and efficiency. • Participates in activities that helped LVRG raise over $1 Million for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) since 2010.

    Director of Marketing
    Patricia Meyers, our first truly homegrown director, is a living embodiment of our core BURGER Values. As our self-proclaimed "head corporate cheerleader," she brings bottomless creativity, fun, organization, focus, follow-through and unwavering enthusiasm to a whirlwind of activities. A strong manager who leads by example, she oversees our marketing budget, leads all outward facing initiatives and creates most marketing and training materials. Patricia leads, grows and continually nurtures our involvement with charities, non-profits and a large network of community partnerships. Whether she's developing effective strategies, leading marketing projects, furthering the engagement of team members, helping our communities or helping us to celebrate ourselves, Patricia is a beam of positive and creative energy. A LVRG SUCCESS STORY: Patricia grew up in Allentown, PA and attended the Parkland School District in Lehigh Valley. As a child, she had a gift for art and drawing and learned computer graphic arts, including use of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator in high school. Combining her love of graphic design with the practicality of business, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing at the University of Scranton. In addition to her studies and multiple campus activities, Patricia found the time to work 30 hours a week as a server at the newly constructed Red Robin in nearby Dickson City. Hired for her positive attitude and boundless drive, Patricia eagerly learned service through Lehigh Valley Restaurant Group's extensive Red Robin training program. A year later, as a top server, she attended our Certified Designated Trainer (CDT) Boot Camp and passed the CDT test to train newly hired team members in a variety of positions. Successful in this additional role, she stepped up as the To-Go Marketer where she increased to-go sales and made community involvement a vital part of this role's evolution into our current outward facing Local Restaurant Marketer (LRM) function. After college graduation, she accepted our offer for Recruiting Manager, working out of our Allentown corporate office. Patricia was then promoted to Manager of Restaurant Training, oversaw all training for hourly team members in 17 restaurants and played a vital role in multiple New Restaurant Openings (NRO). One year later, Patricia was our first and only choice for Manager of Marketing, then Senior Manager of Marketing, now our first Director of Marketing. In this position, she and her Senior Local Restaurant Marketer created the formal training program for the Local Restaurant Marketer. Patricia has developed and implemented multidimensional marketing programs and creative promotions with all.
